4 (1/2) Months!

Of course I am 2 weeks late, but this precious baby is 4 months old!!!

She is SUCH a happy baby and is always smiling.
She has such a sweet nature about her, and really is so easy.
She is always along for the ride, and hardly cries!

She loves to play and especially loves to grab her feet.
I call her my "rolly polly" because she won't stay still.  The second I put her down, she starts to roll (which is funny since Millie NEVER rolled... ever).

She adores her big sister...

and her big sister adores her...

I love watching their interaction.  Millie loves to help with "Simsie," as she calls her, and gets so excited when Sims does new things.

She went for her 4 month check up 2 weeks ago, and the doctor said she looked great!!

Weight: 15 lbs. 3.5 oz. -- 75%
Height: 25 1/4" -- 85%
Head: 15 3/4" -- 40%

Sims you completely melt my heart!!

Lake Fun

After the Thanksgiving festivities in Birmingham, (yes I know this is VERY late), we headed south to the lake for some fun and relaxation!
While we were there, we enjoyed some fun at Catherine's Market!

What could be more fun than a carriage ride and a sucker?!?

We got to visit with Santa...

We also got to feed some turkeys...

Poor turkeys didn't know what hit them when these girls got in their pin.  They loved the turkeys and would not stop feeding them!  If you ever need some help "fatting up" your turkey, I have your girls.

After hanging out with the turkeys, we got to visit some beautiful horses...

and goats...

Happy girls!

Nice orange crocs Dada...

Future cowgirl??

Sweetest boy!

And before we left, we took in a little "rock climbing"...

All the activity was exhausting for some...

What a fun time with such sweet family!!

Two Peas in a Pod

These two might be the cutest 2 1/2 year olds I know.
And when they are together, there is bound to be lots of fun and activity going on.

They definitely keep their mamas on their toes, but I guess it just makes things more exciting :)

We usually explain their relationship by saying: they LOVE each other like sisters, and they can fight like sisters!  Its pretty normal to hear screaming and crying, and then in the next breath hear laughing and giggling.

They like to "get into trouble" together.
Anytime it gets "too quite" we know that we need to go find them... usually they are found jumping on a bed somewhere, or trying to escape to go outside; but nothing beats when they were found after breaking into Doc's closet, both with a fishing rod in hand (with hook still on), swinging them around like a wand.

One things for sure, they absolutely ADORE each other.  Not a day goes by that Millie doesn't ask to go see Mimi "Rarrett."

They are both so sweet and silly!
And one things for sure-- they are not lacking in the personality department...

Can you tell?

They are both very independent-- so its a good thing they have these boys to keep them in line...

and sometime soon, this one will be trying to join the fun...

They are always looking out for each other and want to do everything together.

I'm so grateful that they have each other and for their sweet friendship!

3 Months

Last week Sims turned 3 months old!

Its crazy how much she has changed in just a few weeks!  She did have some pretty big milestones this past month.  Sleeping 12 hours and rolling over were the big ones.  Now she is "talking" all the time.  She has the cutest little voice!

She eats 4 times a day and naps 3 times - 2 "formal" naps, and one "cat nap" in her chair around 5:30.
Thankfully, she is a much better napper than Millie was at this age.

She is SUCH a precious baby, and she absolutely melts my heart.
I am constantly hugging and kissing this baby.
Who could resist this??....

I feel like with Millie, I was always anticipating the next stage, but with Sims I feel like I am clinging for her to stay a baby!  She is growing TOO fast!

I feel like just yesterday, Millie was 3 months...

Now that 3 month old is running around the yard while I take pictures of her baby sister...

One things for sure, both 3 month olds liked relaxing under our tree in the front yard.
Sims taking pictures at 3 months on left; Millie taking 3 month pictures on the right...

Happy 3 months my precious Sims!!

We are so blessed to have you!!
