The past few weeks, Millie has become so much more interactive and it has been so fun!  Her smile is so precious and her little "coos" are so sweet.  She has really come into her own and I love it!

Here she is playing on her activity mat...

All that playing is hard work!

Millie also loves to have "conversations" with everyone.  Well, its more like, we talk and she stares and smiles and coos.

Millie and her Emmie are probably talking about all the tea parties they are going to have and what dolls they are going to play with one day.

Millie is telling Emmie that she can't wait!!

She is changing so much!

Two Years Ago

Two years ago today, was one of the most wonderful days of my entire life.  I said yes to spend the rest of my life with this guy...

What a stud!

June 28, 2008 was such an amazing day.  I got to marry my best friend!

I will never forget the feeling that I felt when the doors to the church opened.

When I saw Brown, my heart was so full and overflowing with love.  The Lord was so present, which made it even more amazing!

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!

Having all of our friends and family there supporting made it even more right!

Off to the reception

These past two years have been more than I ever could have imagined.  The Lord has been so faithful throughout our entire relationship...this past year especially.  With Brown looking for a new job, being big and pregnant, selling our house, having a baby, and now this crazy transition of moving, the Lord's hand has been in it all.  I am so excited to see what else He has in store for us!

I love you Brown!  And thanks for giving me the cutest anniversary present ever!

The Photoshoot

I absolutely LOVE pictures.  I especially love taking pictures.  When I was in college my dad gave me a nice 35mm Nikon camera and from then on, I took my camera everywhere with me.  But since Millie arrived, I had to get with the times and get a digital camera (even though nothing can beat the 35mm).

While we were at the beach, I got a chance to play with my camera on some pretty cute subjects....

These three boys know how to work a camera.  Probably because since they were born, I haven't been able to take enough pictures of them.  I'm surprised they even know what their "Aunt Ka Ka" looks like since I usually have a big camera in front of my face whenever they are around.  I can't help it.  They are just too cute!

They really did a great job posing for the camera considering they are three active boys with lots of space to run, tons of sand, and a big ocean with waves.  But before we began, we let them get some of their excitement out.

Flying like birds

I love this one of Allen.  He is so handsome.

Then the photo shoot began...

This may be my favorite picture of Porter.

Porter is obviously saying, "CHEESE."

I love this one.

These are some special little boys.  Thanks boys for being my models!!

A Visit From Cousin Stuart!

One of the great things about living at home for a while is that Millie has had so many fun visitors!  Yesterday, Millie got a special visit from this little guy....

My cousin Adrienne and her precious little boy, Stuart were so sweet to come to mom and dad's to meet Millie!  She also blogged about the visit here.  We had such a good time visiting with them and getting to see how big Stuart has gotten!  The last time that I saw him was Christmas time, and its amazing how much he has changed!

Here are a few pictures of the first meeting:

The both look so amused.

I love Stuart's smile in this one!

It looks like Millie is warming up and is having fun with her cousin!

Stuart's is being so funny and Millie's little smirk cracks me up.
Its like she is thinking, "Crazy boys.  When will they ever grow up?"

"Thanks for coming to see me!  I can't wait to see you again!!"
