He is risen!!!  Our wonderful Savior is risen indeed!

Our Easter Sunday began with an early morning Easter egg hunt.  Even though Millie didn't find a single egg, she sure was excited to be a part of the festivities.

I don't know where she gets all these faces from, but they sure are funny.

After a beautiful Easter service, we took pictures in our "Sunday best."

Millie's dress has such special meaning to me.

Look familiar?

It was my first Easter dress, and my grandmother, Big Sadie, actually made this dress.
Big Sadie is on the far left.  Easter always reminds me of her.  She loved Easter and love the Lord with all her heart.  I look forward to the day when I get to celebrate Easter with her again!

Our family...

What a good looking crew...

I love seeing the girls together.  They are too cute!

How cute are these cousins...

And can you believe Mimi made this dress and bonnet??!?

What a wonderful day!!

Happy Easter!

Lately, we've been having lots of fun and very little blogging.
(Sorry family who keeps bugging me!)

Brown and I got to head up to Boston a few weekends ago (Brown's old stomping grounds) with some very dear friends, Katie and Scott.  We had such a great time and loved getting to spend time with friends who we don't get to see as much since we've moved.
It was much colder and windier than usual, so excuse our appearance.

While we were in Boston, Millie was rockin' and rollin' with her Emmie, Doc, and May May.

I reunited with Millie and we were able to hang out with some cousins in Augusta during their Spring Break.  I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out with this little one?

Especially when you get to hang out with her in a laundry basket.  It doesn't get much better.

And who wouldn't want to hang out with these 3 fishermen?

They sure bring lots of entertainment.

We also got to hang out with Papa...

sing some songs with Nonnee...

ride bikes with Allen...

and play the Wii with Porter...

Millie had so much fun, she woke up from an afternoon nap with her hair looking like this...

I have no idea how this happened.

Clearly, Millie doesn't either.

We also had a wonderful Easter and an early birthday celebration for Millie, but those will need their own posts!

11 Months!

On Sunday, Millie turned 11 months old!

Unfortunately, her 11 month old picture looks more like a mugshot.

But don't let her deceive you... she really is excited about being 11 months...

...and she's pretty excited that its Masters week.
I've been telling her all about the wonderful traditions of the Masters... and how one day she will be able to go and eat some egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches while walking the most beautiful greens in the world.  (My friend Becca said it best here.)

But for now, she can just model her Masters attire...

This 11 month old is all over the place and definitely has a lots of personality.

When she's not being silly, she sure is a sweet one...

Its hard to believe we'll have a 1 year old next month!

(excuse the Donald Trump was a really windy day)
