The Fish

Last week we hit the road and headed east to see some of our favorite people.

(Don't worry, I did not let Millie drive.  She clearly doesn't keep her eyes on the road when she is behind the wheel, and her hands are not even at "10 and 2."  At least we have 15 years to work on that.)

Anyway, we got there safely and were greeted with precious smiles like this one...

We also got to go and see the boys swim in their first swim meet!!  They were amazing!!  Obviously, because on all 3 races, Allen won first place and Charlie won second place!!!  (And Charlie is 4 swimming against other 6 year olds!)  Can you tell I am a proud aunt??

Here are some pictures from the freestyle:

On your mark...

Get set...

And the backstroke...

I don't think these swimmers could have done it with out the support of their loyal fans...

Future swimmer??  Or baby being attacked by her big brothers while she is helplessly strapped into her stroller??

When we weren't hanging out at swim meets, we did do some swimming and playing of our own.

But since I was in the pool with a baby, I didn't get any pictures of that.  Maybe next time!
We had such a fun visit!

Pictures by Heather

I have so many pictures of Millie, it is insane.... and she is only 1.
So it may sound crazy for me to get her pictures professionally done, but...
1. I wanted to capture this special age,
2. I wanted to have some pictures of the 3 of us (with me actually in them), and
3. Heather from is so talent, I had snatch up the opportunity!

Here are just a few of the wonderful pictures that Heather captured.

Thanks Heather!

A Little Confused

Somebody is confused.

I found this in the depths of the diaper bag and threw it to her in the car to give her something to play with.  When I got home, this is what I found.
Can you tell that someone hasn't seen a pacifier in 7 months?

Long Overdue

When you live 500+ miles away from family, it seems like you can go forever without seeing the ones you love!  Thankfully, we got to see our wonderful family for 3 weekends in a row!!

The reunion started in NYC for the National Stationary Show where Sweet Pea Designs showed off some of the AMAZING new and old designs!  It was so exciting to be at such a huge event while representing such a classic, beautiful, and timeless line.  I was SO proud of Anne and the rest of the Sweet Pea team!  They have been working so hard and it showed!

It was fun to see people who "knew" the family from watching them grow up these past 23 years in the books.

Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of our fun while exploring the city, but we still had lots fun at the show.

The next weekend, we reunited in Birmingham to celebrate Brown's 30th with the family.

We got to meet the newest and hairiest member of the family, Hazel the puppy!  She is SO cute!

And we got to spend time with some special people we haven't seen in a while...

Millie also got to hang out with some of her cousins!  She was excited about it, especially since she hasn't seen them since New Years!!  (I cannot believe it had been that long!)

I told Elaine that I may need to hire Luke to come to NC to babysit Millie, because he was SO good with her and she clearly LOVED him!

Then, this past weekend Brown and I were in Atlanta for a wedding while Annie and Jaybo kept Millie. She had the best time and we loved getting pictures like these while we were away...

We are so blessed to have such amazing family!!
