Big Sister To Be...

Our little girl is going to be a big sister this August!!

Even though she really has no clue what is going on, we think she pretty excited!

I am 17 1/2 weeks and am finding out what we are having in just a couple of weeks.
One things for sure, whether boy or girl, this girl is going to be the best big sister.

We just might need to work a little more on how to properly hold a baby this summer.

Until then, we are just going to have lots of fun getting ready for this precious new addition.

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.  So now I give him to the Lord.  For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord."
1 Samuel 1:27-28

Morning Workout

Every morning while Mama drinks her coffee, I like to go back to my playroom and do my own thing.

After a little bit of playing, I start my morning workout.
I love to swing and jump and climb on this treadmill thingy,
all while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

I'm really good at multi-tasking, and as you can see, I am really buff.

All that hard work, calls for some relaxation time...

Its hard work being a toddler, but someone has to do it.

Wintertime Fun

This has been such a mild winter, so we have spent lots of time outside.
Its definitely Millie's favorite place to be.

We've been riding the scuttlebug...

exploring the backyard....

and taking some pictures...

Unfortunately, when the camera goes in front of mama's face, the smile completely goes away.  This girl wants NOTHING to do with the camera, which is SO frustrating for her mama.

Sometimes bribery works,

but then this is the smile that I get...

Can we say "fake smile?"

Even though the smiling for the camera has not been successful this winter, we still have been having a good time.

The wildest thing about this winter weather has been that one minute we are in a dress with no tights, and the next minute, we are standing in this....

Yes, that is snow in our backyard.

Millie was not the biggest fan, but probably because Keds aren't the best shoes to have on a snow day.
But why would I invest in snow shoes, when the next day its 68 degrees??

Its so funny to look back at Millie in the snow last year.  I can't believe how much she has changed!!

Look at her cutting those eyes to her Dada.  She is thinking, "why in the world are you smiling?"

We've had a fun winter, but spring is in the air and we are ready for it!!

Its pretty awful how much I've neglected this blog.  My mom has threatened to disown me if I didn't update soon, so to prevent any more nagging, I'm going to bite the bullet and update.  The problem is, I am SO far behind I am having to update Christmas in March!  How embarrassing.

It seems like forever ago, but someone was very excited during all the Christmas "prep."  Here are just a few of her faces to express her excitement:

We did go visit "the big man," but unfortunately the Christmas excitement dwindled a little after sitting on his lap.

Thankfully the traumatizing experience was quickly forgotten, and hopefully won't be remembered next year (which is oddly in 9 months).

The excitement continued on Christmas Eve...

and all the cousins made it even more fun.
(This is the best picture we could get of all of them together.  Charlie's face says it all.)

How cute are these girls in their red dresses??

The range of emotions in this picture is priceless...

We were so lucky to sing some carols and listen to Nonnee's amazing talent on the piano before we went to bed...

Christmas morning was full of excitement and fun...

The girls had a blast together...

Can you say "Double Trouble?"

After Christmas, we headed west to meet up with some more fun cousins to celebrate New Years and a birthday of a very special boy...

We had so much fun playing...

and getting some special time with special family...

Sorry again about the lack of blogging!
Hopefully after I get caught up, I won't be so terrible about updating!!
